Eula E. Bourne is a native of the Bahamas . She and her husband, Godfrey have been married for almost 42 years and have lived between Canada and the Bahamas since 1969. She is a mother of three grown sons and six grandchildren.
Eula is an award winning poet and has written more than fifty poems, several of which have been published. She is also a children's book author and has written four children's books-Go Away, Winter!, My Island, The Conchman and the Fisherman and her latest God's Handiwork.
She has been painting professionally since 1974 and has sold her painting, black ink and pencil drawings in Canada and the Bahamas. Her main medium is acrylic and pencil, and her main focus is painting pictures of nature - showing the beautiful handiwork of God through her artwork.
